Mystical Ponies of Secret Valley
In a far away valley, hidden deep in a forest of giant ferns, lived a beautiful herd of ponies, each with secret powers of magic in their hearts. Away from the prying eyes of humans, they pranced and played and reveled in their secret homeland.
Their soft coats glistened in the warm rays of the sunlight, and shone in metallic hues of bronze, silver, and soft golds. The courageous leader of the Mystic band was called Starfire Red Garnet. He was a heavily muscled bronze stallion with hints of deep red in his long flowing mane and tail. With his mighty whinny he could call forth all manner of forest animals to him, and communicate his feelings to them through telepathy. His mate was Whispering Autumn Wind, a delicate fine boned silver mare, with a refined muzzle, and eyes like liquid mahogany. With her heart powers, she could inspire the plants to blossom and thrive, so the band would never feel hunger, and would be blessed with an abundance of jade grass and succulent buttercups.
Whispering Autumn Wind had two springs ago foaled twin colts, one with a coat like spun gold, and the other dark like a growing storm front. They were young and rugged, with lean muscles that rippled beneath their coats, and exuded youthful bearing of confidence. The gold son was slightly taller, with the same delicate face of his dam, whilst the dark son was shorter and closer coupled, his young body already showing signs of him growing into a powerful steed.
The gold was called Shining Arrow’s Flight, and the dark was known as Rising Crescent Moon. They would inherit the duty of protecting the herd, once their sire stepped down from his throne. As they had not yet entered into their third year, their magic had not yet reached maturation, but they were beginning to feel inklings of magics to be, warm sensations and pulses of electric tinglings beginning at forehead center and traveling the length of the spine.
